5 Advantages of Online Classes


As people across India are now becoming used to the digital life every hour and everyday. It has become an integral part of our lives. Without which we cannot live. People of various age demographics irrespective of the caste, creed, gender and religion now have access to utilize online application for various reasons. 
Since, countries across the world have started practicing social distancing in order to curb the spread of the Covid-19 disease. People have started to work from home and education institute to practice continuing their classes through online portal. 
BDM international one of the most acknowledged CBSE School in Kolkata have welcomed the decision social distancing. With this, in order to continue our new academic curriculum we started giving students online classes. This in turn would allow students to at their home only and practice social distancing among teachers, students, coordinator and non-teaching staff member. 
As with regular classes which was conducted pre-Covid-19 times had various advantages, conducting online classes also has several beneficial for the students.
  • Flexibility – Flexibility here in terms refers to the online classes eco-systems students are offered to. Students can attend online classes across various devices whether a laptop, computer, mobile phones irrespective of the software platform the device runs. With this, it offers students to learn new things as they can switch over to a new window of the same browser while continuing their online classes. Ensuring their doubts are cleared quickly. 

  • Comfort – Students whilst in online classes are at their own comfort. This gives them the freedom to attain online classes comfortably. As in regular traditional class students become uncomfortable due to the chairs and desks offered by the school, which are not designed well. Online classes allows students to sit and attend classes in any corner of the house where they are comfortable at. 

  • Self Learning – As mentioned in the first point, that while students continue their online classes they can learn new things about a topic from points that are being discussed during online class hours. This gives them the habit to learn new things by themselves and improved the habit of self learning, decreasing the reliance on other coaching studies. 

  • Improves Interaction – Along with regular classes, online classes also improves the interaction rate of students and teachers as well as with other students. The interaction rate In online classes is high and better as students can chat with their fellow mates in the middle about topics where they need to remind teachers about the explanations of it. 

Online Assessment – Online classes allow students to know their weak and strong points and how to cope these. Exams taken online by the faculty members allows teachers to let students know how good they are in a subject. This allows students to learn more frequently with remarks given by teachers below. Such process can be done personally by teachers in order to make sure that marks are not judged by other students that would cause discriminatory by classmates.
