How to save yourself from COVID- 19?

COVID – 19 abbreviated as Corona Virus Disease 2019 has been a major fore front news all around the world. With the discovery of this new Virus on 1st December 2019 in the city of Wuhan in China,  is an infectious disease which is spreading easily from people to people around the world at a faster rate.
From medical researchers, doctors and medical practitioners around the world the rate at which COVID -19 is spreading is high declaring it as a “Pandemic Disease” by WHO as of March 2020. During such situation, governments of different country around the world are taking various initiatives to prevent the spread of Corona Virus as well as the mortality rate.
BDM International acknowledged as one of the best CBSE School in South Kolkata supports this initiative brought down by the government to tackle the spread of this viral disease. With this we also would like to spread the word of how to tackle this influenza disease to our students as well as parents to how to take care of themselves.
·         Washing of Hands regularly. As what our teachers from the elementary section teach students of those section, “The Washing of Hands”. Same is now being applied even in our adolescence age. This is one of the most basic and simplest way to curb the spread of this influenza virus. Doctors and medical researches have approved that by this way Corona Virus are destroyed and thus the spread rate decreases.
While washing your hands with soap is compulsory, as soap is the best agent that destroys the Virus completely. This is because soap particles are attracted to virus body which completely annihilates the Corona Virus and thus making you free from the disease. Sanitizers can also be used for this purpose but most medical practitioners consults people to use soap for cleaning of hands. It also implies to people to have bath daily with soap.
·         Wear face covering masks. As we are aware about the ways this disease can spread out to from people to people through respiratory fluids like cough or sneezing, it is better for you to wear protective mask such as N95, N99 or the 3M masks that covers your mouth properly.
·         Social distancing. The only way through which this disease can spread out to people at a faster rate is through people socializing their lives with other people. Thus governments of infected as well as certain non-infected countries have reduced the socializing activities in their countries. Activities like lockdown of cities, closure of public meeting places like parties, gyms, education institutes, commercial spaces and many more. Through this, BDM International is more concerned of students health and safety. Thus, according to government regulations closes the school as long as per the direction from government authority.
As the world leaders and governments are taking every step to curb the infection spread out to other people we too at BDM International appeal to our students as well as their parents to take care of themselves and follow these basic method to stop the infection rate of the Corona Virus.
