Teachers at their best in Classroom at BDMI

In School, we don’t deal with inanimate objects, or robots or machinery. We deal with living, breathing, thinking, emotional and a tad bit over dramatic youngsters who deserve nothing less than very best. What we say and do in classroom has an impact and that is something which always matters. BDMI’s teachers follow some unique tricks to keep the class environment positive and bring the best out of each student.

One of the main tools of operation to keep the pulse of classroom positive is humour. Once we learn the trick to inject humour into our lessons at the right time and in the right context and actually get a laugh or two, we can feel relax. Once we relax, our happy attitude radiates throughout the classroom almost visibly changing bored looks and hunched shoulders into eager learners, who while waiting for our next punchline start to listen.

Another way to inject positivity is to make the learner feel ‘safe’ as soon as we walk in –Our positive attitude matters, Oour words have an effect, positivity helps the learner grow while negativity crushes. We must be the one who gives them the space to grow, where they feel free to speak up, participate and feel encouraged to be the best they can.

There is no failure. Only feedback. (Robert Allen) A positive classroom is only as good as a positive learner. We as teachers need to shed those preconceived notions which hinder our ability to accept the uniqueness of that learner.

A tool which always injects a
positive attitude in the classroom is relatability with a dash of goofiness. We can pretend to make mistakes and that we have found brings the learner to my side. Laugh at ourself once in a while and they will laugh with you, not at you!

The teachers at BDMI are the first line of protection for the learner. As a teacher, they are their final line of defense. They protect, and stress on kindness to make the students comfortable. If you want your child to be associated with this

BDMI student makes their mark – this time State Level Wrestling 2018

The child needs to attain the Spoken English class? Their body is not developing if is not joining Karate? And what about Singing classes? Then when will it be on Recitation? The inner artist needs to join the Drawing classes also right? That leaves us with the dancing classes also! Why leave aside Sundays? Now a days the students are not getting enough time to live their childhood. It is getting lost with the pressure of excellence in every field. We plan a life for our kid and with that we impose an expectation on them where we ask them to excel in every single field of life? It is the young age where they grow drastically and the more they are into extracurricular activities, the more they evolve in their studies as well as they do it out of love and not out of expectation. It is always better to let them do something that they love to do. They would learn new things and it will help them in a holistic development. Activities keep a child active and engaged. Meditation Helps to Develop Children’s Brain and Behaviour

Meditation gives young children the feeling of being quiet and still. It gives them time to breathe and imagine. In fact, through meditation children learn that it is okay to be whoever they are and feel whatever they feel. Here are few of the benefits of Children’s Meditation 1.       Increase Focus: Now days children are not focused in one subject. They are not so much attentive in their work, between social media and technological gadgets, kids – and adults – are constantly surfing the internet, interacting via social media and playing video games indoors instead of reading a book, taking a walk or playing sports.   Meditation teaches them that it’s possible to direct their attention at one thing at a time, and that it actually feels great not to be distracted. 2.       Boosting Confidence: The confidence develops naturally when kids learn from their meditation practice that they don’t have to react to all of their thoughts and emotions – they can choose which ones merit

Importance of Social Studies in Early Education

In the past few decade, it has been seen that social studies have been given less importance by teachers to teach students this subject where this subject is of equal important than that of the other subjects like Science, Maths, Commerce and Arts. It helps in developing the students thought process of how the world works and make them wiser as to how to implement the strategy so as to make the world a better place. This subject deals in the teaching of how a person can learn to become a proper human being.   A respected individual by the mass people. It looks into explaining the students how people differ from one another in terms of behaviour, thinking-attitude, culturally and religiously. So as to show respect to one another and to continue their daily work smoothly. Through this, it is seen that it helps people to be more wise enough daily.
