Kindness is a virtue that brings happiness

One's kindness plays a very important role in an individual's life. Being taught at a very young age to children teaches them that the fruits from it keep increasing. We at BDMI has taken the step of teaching our students of the junior section the moral and the importance of being kind to oneself and to others.
We know that showing respect and earning from it is the first step to know the meaning of kindness and that to continue this thing. We have upheld the small program within our premise with the theme named "The Great Kindness Challenge" for five days.
Let us show you some more examples of what have we taught our students to our premise. Let's say for instance a small test was to happen and from there a certain group of students has not passed the exam. Then we let the students who have passed the exam write a small kind note that would make them motivate for the next exam and work well to succeed the next time. Thus earning the love and respect for each other, but also giving a sense of oneness with one another.
Kindness by showing respect does not end till there, eating habits is one of the most important things that show how kind your behaviour can be when need to be done. Washing of the hands and mouth before or eating the supper is taught by the teachers. Praying before eating is taught because it symbolizes that the person respects food provided to it. A virtue in which society always love to see this.
So, what about society?
Showing kindness to society is the best way to earn respect from the people at large. We have taught our students that never in their time lose respect from society.
In our "The Great Kindness Challenge", we have taught them one of the best ways to show kindness to the society by the respect the environment we are living in. Cleaning the campus and putting them in the right garbage bin was taught. Teamwork while performing such activities and maintaining the discipline amongst each is taught them in such a manner that they do know the importance of each other's role and work together.
What about forgiveness?

Yes, we have not forgotten the concept of giving forgiveness. As followed by the father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi, who taught his followers the importance and giving forgiveness. Our faculties have made it a mandatory step that teaching students of junior age that forgiving is the direct answer of being kind. That leads both the people to smile.

BDMI student makes their mark – this time State Level Wrestling 2018

The child needs to attain the Spoken English class? Their body is not developing if is not joining Karate? And what about Singing classes? Then when will it be on Recitation? The inner artist needs to join the Drawing classes also right? That leaves us with the dancing classes also! Why leave aside Sundays? Now a days the students are not getting enough time to live their childhood. It is getting lost with the pressure of excellence in every field. We plan a life for our kid and with that we impose an expectation on them where we ask them to excel in every single field of life? It is the young age where they grow drastically and the more they are into extracurricular activities, the more they evolve in their studies as well as they do it out of love and not out of expectation. It is always better to let them do something that they love to do. They would learn new things and it will help them in a holistic development. Activities keep a child active and engaged. Meditation Helps to Develop Children’s Brain and Behaviour

Meditation gives young children the feeling of being quiet and still. It gives them time to breathe and imagine. In fact, through meditation children learn that it is okay to be whoever they are and feel whatever they feel. Here are few of the benefits of Children’s Meditation 1.       Increase Focus: Now days children are not focused in one subject. They are not so much attentive in their work, between social media and technological gadgets, kids – and adults – are constantly surfing the internet, interacting via social media and playing video games indoors instead of reading a book, taking a walk or playing sports.   Meditation teaches them that it’s possible to direct their attention at one thing at a time, and that it actually feels great not to be distracted. 2.       Boosting Confidence: The confidence develops naturally when kids learn from their meditation practice that they don’t have to react to all of their thoughts and emotions – they can choose which ones merit

Importance of Social Studies in Early Education
